An excellent biography. John Adams is someone I’ve heard about through many other biographies and histories, but never in this depth. He was brave, brilliant, and prophetic. He was also vain, short-tempered, and subject to bouts of depression.
Nonetheless, he was involved with much of what created the America we learn about in history books.
