Fantastic story of heroism. It was really a riveting ride that starts out gung-ho, turns to tragedy (with tear-jerking heroics), and finishes with an unlikely rescue.
I was equally moved by the author’s experience as with the outpouring of support at his parents house during the time he was MIA.
I was proud of our armed services. I was proud of the men and women who defend us. I was also reminded of the pure, unadulterated evil that we are fighting and how we should give evil no quarter.
Great story with thought-provoking undertones.
