Not a bad book. As always, Crichton does a good job of using current science to create a suspenseful scenario. Unfortunately, it feels like I’ve seen this movie before. There are many of the same overtones as Jurassic Park, but not done quite as well.
Also, my suspension of disbelief was tested as the story went on. I enjoyed the idea of out-of-control technology, but the last chapters just seemed a step too far.
It won’t stop me from reading more of his novels in the future, however. He’s just too good of a writer.
