A great story by a local author. I really enjoyed the local references and the setting that seemed very real. The story of choosing your path before the deadline of death was compelling and well laid out.
The author seemed to force the issue a bit at times and some of the situations and conversations seemed contrived to provide a stage for his opinions (all of which I agree with, though). That just seemed to ruin some of the flow of the story, but there were good points to be made.
All in all a great story and I look forward to reading more.
