An excellent biography. I chose to read this to learn more about one of the founders that you don’t hear much about. I have a newfound respect for Hamilton and the Herculean efforts he expended to make this country work.
This is a well-researched and interesting biography. While being quite detailed and in-depth, it was never boring. Much like Hamilton himself, Chernow writes many words here, but all are enlightening and useful.
